How do I import mail and settings into Outlook?

In Outlook 2016, 2013 or 2010:

  • Select the "File" tab
  • Select "Options"
  • Select "Advanced"
  • Scroll down to the "Export" section, and click "Export".
  • Select "Import from another program or file", and click "Next".
  • Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)", and click "Next".
  • Browse to the .pst file that will be imported. Select "Do not import duplicates".
  • Select the folders to be imported, and click "Next".
  • Click "Finish".

In Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007:

  • Select the "File" menu, and select "Import and Export".
  • Click "Import from another program or file", and click "Next".
  • Select "Personal Folder File (.pst)", and click "Next".
  • Browse to the .pst file that will be imported, and click "Next".
  • Select the folders to be imported, and click "Next".
  • Click "Finish".
