What SMTP settings are available?

For scan-to-email devices such as printers, there are three possible SMTP settings.

The SMTP server can be set to one of the following:

  • The SMTP server of your Internet Service Provider (ISP) Please contact your ISP for details. Normally, it is possible to send emails to any address with this method.
  • owa.onenet.co.nz This requires SSL (TLS) authentication, with TCP port 587. This also requires authenticating with your OneNet mailbox credentials.
  • mxa.onenet.co.nz This requires port 25, but no authentication. This only sends to email addresses hosted by OneNet. It is not possible to send emails to external addresses. Please note that your ISP may block this port. If there are any issues, please contact your ISP.
