Minimum requirements for Hosted Desktop access

What are the minimum requirements for Hosted Desktop?

In order for the best experience possible, your device should be always running the latest available updates the version of your operating system (e.g., the latest available updates for Windows 8.1, or iOS, etc.

Windows

  • Windows 8.1, 32-bit and 64-bit editions (including Embedded edition)
  • Citrix Workspace, or Citrix Receiver 4.9 or higher.
    Please note that Citrix Online Plugin, Citrix Receiver version 3.x, 13.x or older are no longer supported.
  • Internet Explorer 11
    Please note that Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 are no longer supported.

Apple OS X

  • Apple OS X 10.11.
  • Citrix Workspace, or Citrix Receiver for Mac 11.9.
    Please note that Citrix Receiver for Mac 11.7, 11.8 and 11.8.2 (with supporting OS X releases) are compatible, but no longer supported.
  • Safari 9.0.

Apple iOS

  • Apple iOS 6.1.
  • Citrix Workspace for iOS.
    Please note that users will need to open the ICA file manually.

Linux

  • Citrix Workspace, or Citrix Receiver for Linux 13.
  • Supported Linux operating systems.

Android

  • Android 5.x
  • Citrix Workspace for Android.
    Please note that users will need to open the ICA file manually.
