- Veeam Agent can send email notifications directly from the protected computer. These notifications will not be sent if the computer is turned off or the agent service is unavailable.
- Sign in to the computer where Veeam Agent is installed.
- Open Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.
- Go to Main Menu > Settings, enable email notifications, then choose Configure and test.
- Enter the settings supplied by your email provider.
- For Microsoft 365, select the Microsoft 365 option and choose Authorise now, then sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
- For Gmail, select the Gmail option and sign in with your Google account.
- For other providers, enter the SMTP server details, username, and password.
- Choose Test now and confirm that the test email is received.
